Here’s to all the backyard tinkerers, garden shed inventors, do-ers and makers. Success doesn’t come easily, and sometimes not at all, but the reward is in the trying. You do it because it’s hard, not easy. The important thing is to make a start and keep going. Sometimes we fail, but we always celebrate with a beer at the end of the day.
Working closely with Canopy, we reimagined their brand to bring out the eccentric fun that comes with drinking craft beer. Inspired by the game Misfits/Exquisite Corpse, we created a dynamic identity that allows us to easily create numerous designs to keep up with the demand of limited edition craft beers.
Working with incredible illustrators, we regularly commission new animals to use as parts of the misfits. With the variety of styles, no can will ever be the same!
The website was a key element of this project, allowing Canopy to reach new audiences and expand their offering beyond brick and mortar bottle shops & pubs. During the pandemic the online shop allowed them to continue to offer incredible beer to customers at home where trade sales slowed.
